Job Responsibilities:

• Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for testing frontend and backend functionalities of forex brokerage software, ensuring appropriate test coverage and risk assessment.
• Test Case Design: Create detailed manual test cases for frontend and backend features, considering various test scenarios, boundary cases, and user workflows.
• Test Execution: Conduct manual testing of frontend and backend components, validate system behavior, and log defects accurately in the defect tracking system.
• Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that new software changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Integration Testing: Collaborate with the development and backend testing teams to conduct integration testing, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
• Usability and UI Testing: Evaluate the user interface for usability, consistency, and adherence to design guidelines, ensuring a positive user experience for forex brokerage software users.
• Performance Testing: Participate in performance testing activities, verifying the software’s responsiveness and stability under various load conditions.
• Backend Database Testing: Validate backend data storage, retrieval, and manipulation processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Defect Reporting and Tracking: Document defects clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce and relevant test data, and work closely with developers to verify defect fixes and update defect status.
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports, ensuring clear communication of testing progress and outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Testing Experience: Proven experience (3 years) as a manual tester in the software industry, with a strong background in testing both frontend and backend components.
• Testing Methodologies: Hands on experience with software projects using TDD and BDD and associated implementations Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Test Case Design Skills: Proficiency in designing effective manual test cases for frontend and backend functionalities, covering positive and negative scenarios.
• Frontend and Backend Testing Expertise: Demonstrated ability to test user interfaces for usability and functionality (frontend) and validate data processing and business logic (backend), including creating and running Postman collections for API testing or similar.
• Test Execution Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in executing manual test cases, recording test results, and logging defects accurately.
• Regression and Integration Testing: Experience in conducting regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases and collaborating with backend testers for integration testing.
• Database Knowledge: Understanding of backend database systems (e.g., SQL databases) and experience in validating data integrity through manual queries.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to thoroughly test software components and provide accurate defect reports.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues, as well as to propose potential solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project stakeholders.
• Available to travel
• Good English language skills are a must.
