Job Responsibilities:

• Understanding stakeholder requirements within a Forex broker and having the expertise and confidence in being able to communicate the said requirements to the development team. Most requirements will be driven by Sales and Backoffice Management Teams
• Create system design specifications, including workflows, use cases, data models, and interface designs, to ensure a clear and comprehensive understanding of the software solution.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions to optimize efficiency and enhance user experience.
• Construct communication diagrams, swim lane diagrams and API definitions based on business requirements. Prepare detailed technical specifications, system requirements, and user manuals, ensuring clear and concise documentation to guide the development, testing, and implementation phases.
• Work closely with development teams, providing clarifications on requirements, assisting in resolving technical issues, and ensuring accurate implementation of system design in a way that enables the team to produce high quality software at pace.
• System Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop test plans, validate system functionality, and ensure the software meets specified requirements and quality standards. Ensure product quality standards used within the team are maintained or improved.
• Change Management: Analyze the impact of proposed changes, assess risks, and recommend strategies for change implementation, including training plans, communication strategies, and rollout schedules.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system analysis, and identify opportunities for process enhancements and technology adoption. Challenge the status quo (technologies and/or processes) to help improve delivery within the team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant field
• At least 5 years working experience in an agile/scrum IT development environment and a good understanding of the software development life-cycle
• In depth knowledge and day to day experience with UML (SysML) tools
• Proficiency in creating system design specifications, including workflows, use cases, data models, and interface designs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business processes, identify pain points, and propose innovative solutions to optimize efficiency and enhance user experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds, facilitate meetings, and present ideas and findings.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts, database technologies, and web-based architectures to effectively communicate with development teams and assist in resolving technical issues. Knowledge of software development methodologies like messaging processes (event queue) etc.
• Proficient in creating clear and concise technical documentation, including system requirements, user manuals, and process flowcharts, ensuring accuracy and comprehensibility.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough and accurate analysis, documentation, and validation of requirements and system design.
• Available to travel
• Good English language skills are a must.
