Job Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development: Assist in designing and developing automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing of Forex brokerage software using automation tools and programming languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python).
• Test Execution: Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects, providing valuable feedback to the development team to enhance the software’s performance and quality.
• Test Maintenance: Maintain and update existing test automation scripts to accommodate changes in the software, ensuring that automated tests remain accurate and effective throughout the development lifecycle.
• Test Data Management: Collaborate with senior testers and backend developers to manage test data sets, ensuring their validity and suitability for various test scenarios.
• Test Environment Support: Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments, ensuring they are properly configured and ready for automated testing activities.
• Test Coverage Analysis: Assist in monitoring and analyzing test coverage, identifying areas for improvement, and participating in discussions to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Continuous Integration Support: Collaborate with the automation team to integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated tests are executed regularly during the development process.
• Defect Validation: Verify and validate defect fixes, conducting regression tests to ensure the software’s stability and functionality after bug resolution.
• Documentation: Prepare clear and concise test documentation, including test scripts, test data, and test reports, ensuring accuracy and traceability of testing activities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Test Automation Skills: Prior experience (2+ years) in test automation, with a good understanding of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Familiarity with methodologies: In-depth know of TDD and BDD as well as Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Test Execution Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to execute test cases, log defects, and analyze test results, working closely with the senior testers and development team to ensure accurate defect reporting.
• Continuous Learning: A keen interest in learning and improving automation skills, staying updated with the latest testing trends and tools in the software industry.
• Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of software development methodologies, version control, and build management, with the ability to read and understand software code.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify potential test scenarios, design effective test cases, and troubleshoot and diagnose basic automation issues.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, effectively communicating with testers, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Test Documentation: Familiarity with creating and maintaining test documentation, such as test scripts, test data, and test reports, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Good English language skills are a must.
