Job Responsibilities:

• Assist and support head of department on the project implementation.
• Assist in various daily operations of Equity, Bond, Fund, trade settlements processing.
• Identify and resolve securities settlement issue and make process improvement, recommendation to the team.
• Assist to process and monitor corporate action.
• Perform daily and monthly checks on transaction reports where applicable.
• Cash flow project to ensure sufficient fund for trade settlement with broker.
• Prepare weekly, monthly report for exchanges traded market.
• Check and verify each process in the SOP, review periodically to improve internal processing.
• Assist in implementation of project activity in accordance with the work plan, including new product, services and system enhancements.
• Attend meeting with operations and development team to understand system processes.
• Assist to highlight, escalate and communicate issue and problem faced within team assigned.
• This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and performance of Settlement team to ensure settlement transaction are processed timely.
• Proactively offer help in project liaison with other departments, provide insight in specialist topics to peers in departments on-need-basis.

Requirements:

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Business or any other related qualifications.
• 3-5 years relevant working experience in investment industry.
• Good understanding of securities industry and possess adequate level of knowledge in securities market.
• Experience in handling project, system enhancement and UAT testing.
• Highly meticulous and organized, dedicated attention to detail, high degree of accuracy is a must.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
• Able to work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines, independent and possess positive attitude.
