On 12 July, the day kicked off with a mission to clean up the beach and show love to our turtle buddies in Sattahip, Thailand. Armed with gloves, bags, and a whole lot of eco-passion, our DOOers squad hit the sand, ready to tackle marine debris and keep the coastal hangouts pristine.
At the sea turtle conservation center, DOOers took on the responsibility of maintaining and cleaning turtle enclosures. Under the guidance of conservation experts, DOOers ensured that our turtle buddies had clean environments conducive to their well-being. This hands-on experience deepened DOOers’ understanding of the challenges facing marine life and strengthened our resolve to protect our oceans.
Beyond the physical clean-up, or DOOers connected deeply with the conservation efforts. Learning about life cycles of sea turtles from nesting to hatchlings’ journey to the sea, the meaningful event inspired DOOers to become the green warriors who spread the word about ocean conservation.
