Doo Group Embraces Gender Equality With Appreciation Conveyed To Female DOOers On International Women’s Day 

Doo Group has celebrated International Women’s Day across its regional offices globally on 6 and 8 March 2024, showering our female DOOers with appreciation and gifts.  

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Inspire Inclusion”, with the goal of inspiring others to appreciate and value women’s inclusion as a means of creating a better society. Doo Group’s value of fostering inclusiveness and gender equality among employees strongly resonates with this year’s theme.

Honoring Women’s Power with Celebration 

This year, our offices across the globe, such as the ones in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia and other regional offices, have celebrated this powerful occasion, and DOOers have enjoyed a marvelous time saluting the ladies at work. 

The female DOOers in our respective offices were acknowledged for their contributions to our companies and were given gifts from the organization. Our DOOers had a great snack and chat teatime session in conjunction with the International Women’s Day celebration. 

 Aside from that, there were some activities on the day, such as a health screening and workshop session at the KL office, addressing the health concerns of our female employees.  

A Gender-Balanced Working Environment 

Doo Group has fostered a company culture of inclusiveness and togetherness. With that in mind, we have opened up various opportunities to attract female talents to join the company. 

The FinTech sector has generally been known to be a male-dominated industry; however, Doo Group, being one of the leading  financial services group, has sought to break this stereotype through our initiative to foster a gender-balanced working environment. Gender balance entails the equitable participation of women and men in all aspects of work, projects, and programs.

Currently, our male-to-female employee ratio stands at 1:0.75, demonstrating the organization’s effort to provide working opportunities to women within the FinTech company. 

Additionally, we have also provided equal chances for our female counterparts to take up managerial roles in the organization, realizing their potential and advancing further in their respective careers. 

Doo Group practices the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principle within our organization, and one of the most important aspects within the “S” is employees’ wellbeing and development. Therefore, by creating a gender-balanced working environment, Doo Group has shown their determination to adhere to the ESG principle, while giving the employees healthy and positive working conditions.
