Payroll Specialist
- Kuala Lumpur
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage end to end employees’ payroll processing by consolidating attendance reports, leave requests and other payroll information in adherence to prevailing laws, rules and regulations.
- Manage a board range of compensation and benefits (C&B) programs and operations such as market benchmarking exercise, annual and monthly budgeting and allocation, employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll & procedures documentation and transactions.
- Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns from employees.
- Prepare periodic payroll reports for Management’s review.
- Managing taxation and global mobility-related issues to ensure compliance with the legislation of relevant jurisdictions and internal guidelines;
- Identify gaps in payroll processes and lead relevant improvements initiatives in Payroll Policies / SOPs.
- Prepares the compensation and benefits budget, including the regular monitoring, reporting and adjusting of the payroll budget.
- Design policies to close gaps in the compensation of employees (introducing the internal equity at affordable costs).
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of solid working experience in local and regional payroll function under fast-paced developing work environment.
- Experienced in payroll process improvements projects shall be advantageous.
- Familiar with salary payment via cash, bank and USDT methods.
- Highly organized and meticulous.
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Possesses conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin.
