DOO you have what it takes?

What you’ll be working on:

• Monitor and oversee daily trading activities in stocks, futures, options, bonds, and funds.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant trading regulations and rules.
• Manage trading platforms to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external parties on various projects, including IT, Compliance, Risk Management, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and participate in testing and enhancing trading systems.
• Manage projects related to new system implementations or product launches.
• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the dealing department.
• Evaluate and improve operational processes within the trading and dealing department.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the trading team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Provide training and guidance on trading platforms, products, and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure project alignment and success.
• Handle conflict resolution and negotiations professionally.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a brokerage firm with at least 3 years in a Manager or Assistant Manager role within a dealing department.
• Extensive knowledge in dealing financial products such as stocks, futures, options, bonds, and funds.
• Proven experience in trading system testing and enhancements.
• Strong understanding of dealing department SOPs, trading rules, and overall broker operations.
• Excellent project management skills, especially related to new system or product launches.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills as the role involves collaboration with various departments.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Good command in BOTH English and Mandarin (as needed to support mandarin speaking customers).
