Our Limassol team is growing. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Data Analyst to increase company’s knowledge level, efficiency and maximize profits.

Responsibilities:

• Working as a team with agile methodologies.
• Consulting with management and relevant stakeholders to understand business goals and processes.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions that turn data into knowledge. (e.g., Data Storytelling)
• Reporting findings and suggesting business solutions.
• Evaluate and improve business processes, focusing on data analysis.
• Develop and execute database queries and update technical documentation.
• Participate in frequent meetings to follow up on the team tasks to meet the objectives.
• Write scripts to generate / aggregate data to be used for reporting purposes
• Define Best Practices for Python and SQL scripts
• Organize script structure and execution plan
• Experience in training or mentoring others on innovative technologies, design and development approaches, and the application of established standards and best practices for business intelligence development and data design.
• Collaborates well within a team while maintaining the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 – 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience 2-3 Years on Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools or equivalent.
• Team worker and proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Required language(s): English
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Proven experience in the financial sector (focusing on Forex industries).
• Ability to understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience with programming for data analysis e.g., python.
• Firm understanding of statistics and databases.
